Kiss of the Spider Woman or Happy Halloween

I love these spider glasses. I made them last Saturday for a Halloween party. They are based on a costume from the Martha Stewart Living Magazine. Very easy to make and very effective. The rest of the costume is below. I wore a crinoline to represent my web. This is my first Halloween as a teacher. It was very exhausting. I have three classes and I did a 2 week long party planning unit with each of them. They finished off with actual Halloween parties, one each day. I am exhausted. I cooked a pasta dish for each class, and they baked cookies and cupcakes. I supervised them planning, making invitations and menus, decorating and cleaning up. It was a lot of work but I think it was worth doing. The kids and I definitely learned a lot while having a good time.

You were concerned about doing a good job as a teacher??? When??
You sound like a super-cool teacher to me! I wish my teachers taught me party planning. I would have had a whole different career path. LOL!!!
